30 weeks!!

Thats right 30 weeks today! I can't believe it's going by so fast only 10 weeks (or less) left!! Well here is a picture sorry it's a crappy one Carl isn't home yet and I know if I wait I will forget and end up not posting! Don't mind my gross mirror!!

How far along? 30 weeks!!! crazy

How big is baby? About 3 lbs...the size of a squash

Weight gain? 10 lbs last appointment haven't checked since...

Stretch marks? Sadly yes

Maternity clothes? Yep mostly jeans not so much shirts

Sleep? So so depends on the night

Food cravings? Apples, Salad, Taco sauce...ha

Movement? All the time starting to slow down just a bit

What I miss? My clothes, my "normal body"

What Im looking forward to? Meeting my little guy!!!

Milestone? Making it this far with no serious complications!

Thanksgiving!

I am so excited for Thanksgiving tomorrow! I love all the Thanksgiving food that comes with the holiday! I just wanted to write a post all about the things I am sooo very grateful for this year so here goes...The baby boy in my belly only 79 days or less!

• My amazing husband
• My parents, they are the most caring amazing people and I can't wait to see them with Gavin
• Having a nice warm house to call home
• My in laws...all of them they are so great! My sister in laws have given me so many baby things and tons of advice!!
• My great friends even if we don't talk or see each other as much as we could!
• My job
• The doctors that we have worked with (most of them at least)
• Having food on our table
• Money to buy the things we need
• Family that supports us
• My amazing Grandparents
• Mashed potatoes!!!!
• Good health

Oh and Im sure there are sooo many more things....I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving and they are stuffed by the end of the day!! I know baby Gavin and I will be for sure!!

28 weeks!!

I worry...it's my nature...

Sometimes I worry about thing way to much...I was so worried I wouldn't be able to get pregnant after I did I worried constantly that something terrible would go wrong with the baby. I seem to always find the negative in every situation and focus in on that. It's pretty sad. When we went in for our 20 week appointment we found out that the baby had some fluid around his heart and the doctors immediately freaked us out telling us their was a 70% chance our baby would be born with down syndrome or another type of chromosomal disorder and 30% chance that it very well could be nothing at all and it would go away before he was born or during birth. They told us that we needed to have an amino centesis done that day to see what kind of disorder he would have. (yes they made it seem like for sure he had something wrong with him) The rest of that day I couldn't help but think we were going to have a baby with a chromosomal disorder and I thought all the negative thoughts I could even though deep down in my heart I knew that everything was going to be ok. Which in the end it was his fluid has gone down a great deal from what it was 7 weeks ago when we saw the Cardiologist the first time and at our last appointment on Friday he told us he felt great about it and that he would not be seeing us back! I feel like I focused on all of the negative things in this situation. Instead of thinking about how loved he would be no matter what happened in the end and that how lucky I am that I can even carry my OWN baby. I feel like sometimes I miss out on great things because I'm stuck looking and thinking about the negatives in life. Im going to make a new goal for myself starting now. Im going to stop concentrating on the negative and more on the positive things in my life!

24 weeks

It's crazy to think that I'm more than half the way through this pregnancy!! I can't believe how fast the time is passing it seriously feels like just a few weeks ago we were getting ready for our first doctors visit! Well here is the pic of the week don't mind my pj's messy hair and gross glasses!

24 weeks

We have started to get Gavin's room ready my wonderful husband and amazing mom painted the room last weekend! They did such a great job I know painting is not a favorite since we've already painted every wall in our house when we moved in so thanks again!! I also made Gavin's name blocks a few weeks ago and on Sunday night we put up his crib the room still has a lot of work but it's a start!

HOW FAR ALONG? 24 weeks!!

HOW BIG IS BABY?

STRETCH MARKS? Same as before just the two thank goodness!!

MATERNITY CLOTHES? Mostly jeans not really shirts

WEIGHT GAIN? 8 lbs last week at the dr. haven't checked since

SLEEP? Getting harder and harder to get comfy and he kicks right when I start to fall asleep

BEST MOMENT THIS WEEK? Watching my belly move around when he is moving!

FOOD CRAVINGS? Salad I can't get enough of it and chocolate...where did that come from I don't even like chocolate!

GENDER? Still very much a boy!!

MOVEMENT? All the time they are getting stronger and stronger everyday!

BELLY BUTTON? Stretched to the max but still an innie

WHAT I MISS? My clothes and not having something jabbing at my ribs!

LABOR SIGNS? Nope

MILESTONE? Everything working out in the end and a healthy baby boy!!

Half way!

That's right I am half way done baking this little guy and can I just say that I hope the time goes just as fast this half as it did the first half! We had our official ultrasound a few weeks ago and this baby is defiantly a BOY we had a name picked out and now that we know for sure we are completely stuck on the name! His name will be GAVIN CURTIS CHRISTOPHERSON!!! I can't wait to meet our little guy he has already tested us as parents and I am so grateful for this little guy to join our family!!

Weight gain? 3 lbs.

Stretch marks? sadly two right on the front on my tummy :(

Maternity clothes? Just jeans (soooo much more comfy!)

Milestone? Making it to 20 almost 21 weeks with a healthy baby!!

Recent happenings...it's a long one!

So as you can see I am really horrible at updating my blog lately...I mean I never really was super great at updating but I told myself I would start updating more when we found out we were going to be having a little one...yeah well you see how well that is going seeing as how we are almost half there and I hardly ever post! Where to start...well today is our two year anniversary! I can't believe it has been two years already it does not seem like it has been that long at all! I love Carl so much he is such a great guy and I can't wait to see how he will be with our baby boy! He is one of the most caring, funny, most amazing guys I have ever met and I am soooo lucky to call him mine!! Happy 2 years love!

Well moving right along to baby we did end up going to Fetal Fotos or whatever the heck it's called and found out that we will be having a little BOY!!! We are so excited! It came as a bit of a shock seeing as how my mother in law has these dreams about what people close to her are having and up until us she was never wrong! So we were setting our selves up for a little girl...Carl and I were up for both we didn't have our hearts set one way or the other! We have started picking out names and are 99% sure we have on set but Carl set a rule that we aren't allowed to decide 100% until after we have our ultrasound with the Dr. which happens to be tomorrow! So don't you worry as soon as we see that little you know what on the screen tomorrow I will let everyone (not many that read this but the few that do) know our little guys name! I am now 18 weeks and some odd days as you can see by the ticker counter thingy thing on the side over there...and this little guy is moving around like crazy!! It's so fun to feel him wiggle around in there it's a nice little reminder that he is still in there! I said that to Carl the other day and his response was well where would he have gone? It was kinda funny made me smile! I feel great now days and have so much more energy than I did at first it's great! I have taken some pictures but will have to post them tomorrow along with the name I don't have my camera with me at work so you out there who care about how huge my belly is will just have to wait!

At the end of August our best friends got married and it was such a great wedding! Natalie looked sooo beautiful in her dress and Andrew looked just great himself! There wedding was at Wadley Farms in Lindon and it was so pretty with all the flowers it was such a nice day for such a pretty place! Good work Nat! Carl and I are so happy for the two of you! Love you guys!

Other than that we've just been enjoying the last little bit of summer with bbq's and a few last min camping trips which have been so much fun! Well I will be posting some things in the next few days about baby names and some more pics I can't promise tomorrow but I will try my hardest!

Summer time...

Well this summer has been very eventful for us! We've had weddings, camping trips, bbq's and sooo many other fun things going on! I love having things going on but it will be nice to have a break and get somethings done around the house before we have a wee one around!

Moving on to baby C...( hope you don't get sick of hearing about baby!!)

We have our second dr. appointment this Thursday and we find out the sex on Sept. 14th!! The day after our 2 year wedding anniversary... such an awesome gift to the both of us!! That is if I can hold out that long I'm such an impatient person I don't know if I can wait!! But on the other hand I don't know if I want to pay that much money to find out a few weeks early....hmmmm....Well we are 14 weeks and 4 days today and I feel huge haha rught I know it's only going to get worse... oh and can I just say I am sooooo glad the first trimester is OVER!! I have been feeling great lately I feel like I have more energy and I can actually eat food and not just Popsicles! It's still very crazy to think that next year we will have a little one around we can't wait!!!

Also my parents just got home from sturgis and my mom couldn't resist when she saw all of the cute baby things...my dad gave her one rule...that she couldn't by anything until we find out what baby is but she just couldn't pass these up...

Baby Christopherson

Thats right Carl and I are having a baby!! We are about ten weeks and we went to our first doctors appointment on Friday. We love our doctor she answered all of our questions and we even got to see our baby and hear it's heart beat!! It was such an awsone feeling just knowing that there is actually a little baby in there! We are due Feb. 11, 2011 and we couldn't be any more excited!!!!

How big is baby? Alomost the size of a fig
Weight gain? So far the same as I was before due to NOTHING at all sounding good!
Stretch marks? Nothing new from jr. high
Maternity clothes? Just the bella band and summer dresses

St. George...Memorial weekend...Catch up!

Pretty much a month ago we went on a little weekend trip with my sister in law Megan and her hubby Reid and their oh sooo cute little ones! It was really fun Meg and I left on Thursday after I finished my last final and the boys came on Friday night because they had to work! It was so much fun hanging out with Meg and the kids! Her adorable baby girl makes me even more baby hungry than I already am if that is even possible! Megan had a wedding she was in so I watched Jack on Friday night we swam played on the playground and watched up! I love that little guy he is just so funny and always puts a smile on my face! It was fun to hang out with Carl and swim and relax! Thanks again for inviting us we always have fun with you guys! Sadly I didn't take very many pictures that trip.



Well this last weekend we packed up our camping stuff and headed to the sand dunes for the night. It was so nice to get away for the weekend seeing as how for the last two weeks I've had class from 5 -10 every night! We got to hang out with some great friends and my little bro and his girlfriend! We left Saturday afternoon after we helped Nat and Andrew with their engagement picture (which I can't wait to see how they turned out!). We camped Saturday to Sunday and it was the perfect weather out there!

Other than that we have not had much down time and this next couple months I have a feeling are going to keep that trend! I have clinical's tonight until 10 and tomorrow at 6 am until 2:20 then we have bachelor and bachelorette parties that night which I might add that I am so excited for then clinical's next Thursday then Thursday night wedding rehearsal dinner then Friday Matt and Mels wedding!!! That folks is our life these days kinda crazy!

Spring break?

Next week is spring break for me...but is it really a BREAK? A break from school yes but not from work! It's ok because one of my most fav people is coming home for the week and I can't wait to spend some quality time doing some pilates and just simply hanging out with her!

Im excited that spring is right around the corner a couple weekends ago I was cravin me some spring so bad that I went out and cleaned up my flower beds it was so nice to get out of the house and work on the yard and be OUTSIDE!!!
Tonight this little cutie is gettin some attention...

Where has the time gone March already....really?Today is my AMAZING husbands birthday...he is 24! I just had to give him a little shout out because he is awesome! So Happy Birthday babe I love you! To celebrate we will be going here tonight! yummm

In other news we welcomed a cute new niece into the world! Aiva Sarah Mann on Feb. 17th She is soooo cute!

Sadly she became sick with RSV this last weekend she is in the hospital this week and we can't wait for her to be back home with her cute older brother and parents!

So if you have time keep this cute little one and her parents in your thoughts and prayers!

Hopefully March has some fun and sunshine in store for us!

Im craving spring time bad!

Alright so I was just looking back at my last post and wow do I sound kind of like a brat! I don't know what my deal is lately but something needs to change and fast! I can't believe how selfish and snotty I came off in that last post! Sooo I want to apologise for all of that! I have mainly two people that I need to say some things too...They both have exciting stuffs going on and I wanted to give them shout outs!

Nat I can't explain how EXCITED I am for you and Andrew I don't know what I would do without you as my bestfriend you are great and I can't wait for August 28 th!!!!

Megan I am soooo excited for Aiva to come! You are such a great sister in law I just love you to death I'm going to be very sad if/when you guys move away! Oh yeah and thanks a bunch for the ride home the other night!!!

Well now that's out of the way I think that I need to be more focused on my life and the things happening right now and not think as much about what everyone else has going on in there life and compairing the two. From here on out that is my new rule! All the things I want will come when the time is right and I just need to keep telling myself that!

Boring...

I've been sitting in front of my computer with this screen up trying to think of something to write for about 25 minutes and have come up with NOTHING not one thing. That should tell you how exciting our life is right? I wish I had things to blog about but I don't. Things like baby news or talking about my last semester of school, us moving somewhere AWAY FAR FAR AWAY from this stupid cold grossness outside, or doing stuff to our house but I don't...it's kind of depressing in a way. I don't know if it's winter that is making me this way or if I'm just having a bad day or if I'm jealous that what seems like EVERYONE around us has exciting things going on in life like marriage, babies, and graduating and we are just stuck where we are or what the deal is. I hate to be a debbie downer but that's just the way the cookie crumbles this month!
