New Year!

I figured I haven't blogged for a few months and with today being New Years Eve I better do a little recap of 2012. This year has been full of ups and downs for us but I can honestly say that I wouldn't change one thing about this year all of those ups and downs have tested so many relationships and we have learned so much from everything that has happened. we have had so many fun adventures this last year.

• Gavin turned one!
• Carl got a new job with an amazing company and we couldn't be more greatful!
• Gavin had his first round of swim lessons.
• We took many trips to the zoo, spent lots of time at the park and going on bike rides.
• We used our pass of all passes a ton and spent alot of time at Seven Peaks.
• We were lucky enough to celebrate my Grandparents 50th wedding anniverary with them!
• Spent time with our family from out of town swimming and hanging out.
• Family vacation to Lava Hot Springs
• Spent a night in Park City for our anniversary
• Welcomed a couple of cute new nephews to the family! Charlie we can't wait to meet you in person!
• Found out we were expecting our second little one!
• Took Gav Trick or Treating he dressed up as a racoon
• Celebrated Thanksgiving with family and friends
• Had another amazing Christmas with family and friends. Gavin was so fun to watch open his gifts this year.

 

 

 

 I can't wait to see what this new year holds for us. We have so many fun and exciting things to look forward to in the next few months! I promise to blog more I want this blog to act a journal for this new little one as much as it has been my "journal" for Gavin.

15 Months

Today Gavin had his 15 month check up. Let me start off by saying I love our pediatrician she is so great and so in her nurse I love them both! Well my LITTLE guy is just that still very little! I don't get it this kid eats like a bottomless pit yet gains wait soooo slowly! He is just a little guy but he is as healthy as can be! Here are the stats for 15 months....

This little man just cracks me up he is changing every day. He picks up new words all the time and gibber jabbers to himself all the time! I love this little  man to death he is my best friend.

Spring time 2012

This spring we have done so many fun things. We've been to the zoo with Melissa and Olivia, we have been to the park a bunch going for walks and swinging in the swings, and we have been swimming at the indoor pool a few times. We also celebrated Gavin's second Easter (not that he remembers his first) he got a lot of clothes which he needed all of his short sleeve t-shirts and shorts from last year were way too small so he needed some summer clothes! We had a great Easter spending time with family! We are so excited to see what else this spring and summer have in store for us! Oh and Gavin is going to be starting swim lessons here in the next couple of weeks so I will post pictures when the time comes! Here are some pictures of what we have been up to lately!
